Beth’s Singing Workshops
Enhance Your Singing Journey
With a range of instruction from basic to advanced levels, our workshops guide you on a journey to discover your unique voice. Experience structured learning in a supportive environment, focusing on the technical and emotional aspects of singing.
Beginner Workshop
This workshop for pure beginners will guide the novice singer with no previous experience. We will learn the basic fundamentals, discovering your voice in a safe environment, and practicing your vocal instrument for the first time.
$200 (six 2 hour lessons)
$40 (one 2 hour lesson)
Fundamentals Workshops 1 & 2
In the Fundamentals Workshops we will work on individual singing skills, learn group singing dynamics, study musicality, and progress towards freedom of voice.
Fundamentals Level 1
This workshop has a safe, core-focused approach for singers with some untrained experience but little understanding of their vocal mechanisms. You will be introduced to techniques that increase musicality and embody rhythm, and practice basic improv structures and group singing dynamics.
Fundamentals Level 2
This workshop is for singers with experience and training. Building on a strong foundation, we will continue to develop your vocal technique. We will also explore the possibilities of your voice through improv structures and improve musicianship in a fun and supportive group environment.
$200 (six 2 hour lessons)
$40 (one 2 hour lesson)
Advanced Workshop
This workshop is for those with a strong vocal improv background and a good awareness of vocal technique, or those who have taken the Fundamentals Level 2 workshop and understand circle singing. Moving past those techniques, you will experiment and play with your voice discovering its full potential. We will explore the subtle nuances of the individual vocal mechanism, and work through any challenges you may be experiencing, whether they be technical, emotional or within your physical form.
$200 (six 2 hour lessons)
Beth offers 2 types of private lessons in her home-studio, near Southgate Mall:
Voice or Piano:
Option One: 45 minutes $55
Option Two: 1 hour $70
All ages and skill levels are welcome.
